What a disposable inbox protects
Using a separate address keeps your everyday email out of that particular signup. Follow-up mail sent to the temporary address stays away from your primary inbox.
That does not make you anonymous. Websites and email providers may still process connection information and message content. Avoid sending identity documents, payment details, or other sensitive information to a disposable inbox.
This page keeps its active inbox access in memory. Reloading or closing it loses that access. Leaving the page does not prove that the provider has deleted the account or messages. Select New address to delete the current account before replacing it.
Understand the limits
Separating an address from your primary inbox can reduce unwanted mail reaching that primary address. It does not hide your device or guarantee confidentiality. Only share information that is appropriate for a third-party email service, and use a permanent mailbox for sensitive communication.
